This TSB supersedes TSB 19-AT-003H to revise the Parts Information.
Description: This bulletin provides the procedure to identify the correct transmission part
number for 2013~14 Sonata (YFa) 2.4L by referring to the Serial Code.
Some transmissions installed during the transition from 2013 to 2014 model years may be mixed
from 8/20/2013 to 10/17/2013.
NOTE: An incorrect transmission part number may cause a 2-3 shift flare.
Applicable Vehicles: 2013~14 Sonata (YFa) 2.4L 2013~14 Sonata (YFa)
If an installed transmission has a 2-3 shift
flare:
Locate the 12 digit Serial Code of the
removed transmission at the location shown
in the image.
Refer to Parts Information to confirm the
installed transmission was the correct part
number according to the first 4 digits of the
serial code. If the installed transmission was:
Incorrect ATM, install the correct ATM.
Correct ATM, replace the ECU according
to the Parts Information below.
